Nice - you brightened my day. Thank you!

This is possibly usefull if you need a low skilled craftsman to produce something a high skilled craftsman could produce.

I didn't see no jump. I saw an idea on strings. Awfully bright lads, though. Will there be a follow-up about the cool materials they'll be using? Because this thing seems to be at a very early stage - someone's master thesis.

There was a man that didn't care about privacy or had no control over one of his major companies. He may have the same approach about about the Internets.

The major cost is 343 days of your life. If you're willing and able to invest you are truly wealthy.

Fakes are not a (low price) opportunity for me as a consumer - they are a (quality) nuisance I try to protect myself from! Fake batteries anyone?

Good coffee starts with a decent grouphead. Consistant heat is the key. Either mass or electronic junk. Faema E61 is the patent to look for - and there is no way around that concept. Then it's the grinder, the water and last, the coffee.

Now playing

Multiple GoPros. Apparently the GoPro has a Bus interface. A recent Surf Video exploits this AFAIK for the first time. In that video there are 30 GoPros mounted on a rail which is even more impressing than what you see here.

Nice review Mat. It's details like the ones you mention that define the relationship to ones hardware. Yep, "relationship". And a hype cycle applies to this as well. As digital consumers we have accepted "bananna products" to ripen in our hand.

Maybe ~1 sec = ~1 heart beat? Would be interesting to see if the video influences the viewers heartbeat.

I've once inspected IT systems in a poultry factory. The smell was almost unbearable - on the brink of vomitting. Since then, I have seriously reduced poultry and get my antibiotics from the doctor.

I'd go for GPS-alternative targeting/calibration system. The 18mls grid definitly valuable to measure "build quality". I'd like to see a timeline for these images - eg. what order were they "constructed"?

Maybe it's the start of a new-never-been-there-before guerillia marketing campaign?

While I respect +8 mins of thrust, what am supposed to be seeing here? Is this like a Wikileaks-thing were you go "oohhh" and "aaah" but have no clue what you are really reading?

What a waste of precious resources!

Yes, me bad.

My take on the Wüsthof Seven-Inch:

Good, consice review.

I'll put these on my window sill. For proper horror.
