I saw Berserk ‘90s in an anime club. They had VHS fansubs. It was the stone age.

Remember the days when you could watch fan-subbed anime and manga distributed through IRC and FTP, and not have to deal with internet comments and stupid circle jerks.

This anime isn’t progress though, it is poor quality 3D CG. CG has been done far better, people understand how to make it work and this particularly poor use of it is not going to set the medium back.

The original Berserk looks so much better than this one. The art and CG in this series look like they belong to a low budget 90's video game, not an anime from 2016.

My fake kimchi recipe is way way lazier: scoop out some sauerkraut from a jar (either store-bought or homemade) and season with chili (powder, paste, chunks, whatever), scallions, ginger, fish sauce, sesame, etc. Cheap and spicy/funky lactofermented goodness. And did I say lazy? Yeah.
