Oh my, this article makes me very sad. I had hopes. Small hopes, but hopes none the less.

I’m the type of guy who loves reading through the old War 1&2 manuals lore, and they seemed to have a pretty solid story back then. If nothing else, the story of the first Orcish invasion should have made a good fantasy/action…

I was a big fan of the original, but not wild about this sequel. The writers are different, and the overall writing direction seems to have gone from a focused story to lots of horrible anime cliches (all that talking about food... only the Japanese could put that in a game)
