I have such mixed feelings about Pete Souza’ work. On the one hand, these are beautiful, iconic images. On the other the hand, it’s impossibly painful to see them at this exact time. I’m trying to look on the good side, but it’s just painful.

Meth bugs were my first thought too.

I was a meth user for quite some time and thank GOD I never picked at my face. I know that sounds shallow but man, that screams meth like no other.

This was my exact reaction (I also had a pet snake which bit me once). That is not a snakebite.

I thought the same thing! A snake bite is a puncture would, and that picture shows scratches, like from a thorny or picky plant.

I own a snake (one of my brilliant decisions as a 20 year old)  and she bit me once when she mistook my hand for food and and it did not look like that. It’s not that I am saying she’s a liar, but snakes have two fangs that are hooked and will bite once and rapidly pull back if it is defensive or bite and constrict if…

I can speak for this too. I had a set of rain-x wipers and they were literally the worst...Napa’s are way better.

Interesting that the RainX washer fluid is so fucking incredible, but their wipers are such incredible garbage.
