I mean, regardless of your thoughts on either side of the conflict, restreaming war footage at all is a bad look, and reacting to it for entertainment value pushes that low even lower. It’s not the reactions themselves, just the... like... total lack of respect for the death and destruction on display.

On the internet, you have to pretend that you care about up to date geo-political/social issues, otherwise you become a social pariah.

He’s “reacting” to it like it’s some random tiktok video BS - as opposed to watching a mass genocide taking place. He is de-humanzing an atrocity against civilians, turning it into “entertainment” and being flippant about it.

He’s streaming his reaction to war footage which in turn, he gets paid for.

I really want women to be seen as equals in the gaming landscape but I truly feel articles like this just hurt the movement by not attempting to give those who are trying to do better, any credit. It honestly feels like the article is trying to bait people into arguing, even tho it does bring up some good points.

I feel like this entire article ignores every little bit of Drake’s Breath.

Overblown, like bombastic which is used in the article, means overly inflated, pretentious, etc...

Man, the comments here have devolved into trash since the herb took over. Just an endless barrage of “Stop having opinions!”

On the other hand, there’s nothing wrong with having various performance options that can be turned on and off by the player.

I miss those days when I’d be dragged to go grocery shopping with my mom but she’d always allow me to rent a game while we were there.

Someone with sense in the comments.

This is not something to be proud of. Ghosting and scams make dating shitty for everyone cause it perpetuates treating people like shit. Then you get people in the comments who cheer for them. It is sad.

I mean...some of these guys were probably creeps but ghosting people is kind of a shitty thing to do just generally. I’m not really sure it’s behavior to be bragged about.

Yeah, it’s been a weird hangup to try to make her a “first” since people noticed her. Street Fighter is nothing but cultural/regional/ethnic stereotypes from the jump. There’s been black Americans in it since day one (and I don’t mean SF2, I mean SF1), there’s been women since SF2, there’s been black women since SF3,

You should maybe modify the title to indicate that it’s a Game Trial, not a fully free game

..... my dude, if you tell me something is “animé,” I’m gonna assume it’s from a Japanese studio. Because that’s how words work within the context of society, colloquially. If someone says to me “Do you watch anime?” my response is not going to be “oh sure, I love Beevis and Butthead.”

It literally doesn’t though lol.
