Webex is trash. While their UI has updated to modern times, their video quality is still crappy. My company was finally glad to be rid of all that Cisco equipment and software that was never update, properly. We are currently on 8x8, and can’t be happier. Although, it’s not hard to beat Webex.

As someone who recently blew up their phone (and then revived it), I would recommend moving to an authenticator that can be backed-up, like Authy. 99% of my 2FA was in Google Authenticator. In the 80's and early 90's, for my parents’ telco, it was an additional charge to have touch-tone recognition. I remember being stuck on rotary or pulse for what seemed like eternity.
I had a similar experience. I thought my townsfolk would guilt me because of my absence. However, they were concerned that I haven’t been around, and they were glad to see me.
The color already had my attention, but then I saw the back. That is some awesome two-toned goodness.
LOL tldr
It’s for an ego boost and costs nothing. The donation is enough to put Ma, and other dick-head billionaires, in the headlines for good PR. They don’t actually want to do anything significant.
It’s been 15+ years since I saw the movie. It was incredible. I’ve only recently stopped tearing-up at the mention of it.
And end-users can’t be trusted to properly install it.
Still works today, and will probably continue to work in the future. I just completed upgrades on 80 machines from Win7 to Win10, and we didn’t shell out a single dime on new licenses.
Go full economy and get a bottle of caffeine pills. A pill is 200mg. I break it in half, or further, depending on how much caffeine I want.
I don’t think we can count on the gov’t to be pro-active. Disaster recovery plans should be the focus.
