What you’re forgetting is he said he’s in 6th at 300 rpm. Even with DBW/IAC/ECU adjusting stuff a normal car would stall out if you tried to lug it at 300rpm. Also when he mats it the engine builds revs quick for such a low rpm/high gear.

Try driving to Alaska with a 22000lb gvwr. In 5 days. The worst is knowing your eyes are open, then “waking up” 3 lanes over, on the rumble strip and having not a clue how you got there.

I may catch a lot of flack for this but contrary to what people have been saying it didn’t look like he was driving like a douche. Juse brapped a bit thru the tunnel to listen to that fabulous flat 4 exhaust note. Not much faster than an overtaking maneuver I’d imagine. Just my $.02
