That’s amazing and if you can do that you can definitely cross stitch. It’s al on a grid so it’s very easy to plot. I could never do yours with the skill I'm at now. Next on my list to self-teach are French knots and those circular flowers like you have.

Whoa, I love it!! I wish I could cross stitch. Definitely agree on the metallic floss, it’s the stuff of nightmares. I usually use DMC too, since it’s easily available, but really like the Krenik brand. I found it much easier to work with, but it’s more expensive.
