I hear you!!! It can get unpredictable on our floor too. It just means lunch sometimes at 1600 instead of 1200. The other day someone took lunch at 1700, 2 hours before change of shift lol. But you’re absolutely right, in our line of work sometimes it’s not feasible which is why I made the post in the first place.

Oy....I’m a nurse and we only get 30 minutes. It takes 15 minutes just to get to and from the cafeteria. It takes 30 minutes just to get to some non hospital food. Anyway at least I even get to eat. I have nurse friends who get so busy on their floor with no support from their managers or coworkers to cover them so…

Yes they were! In fact the respiratory therapist that had to come into the room right before delivery was a male RT. That I worked with on the daily. Who had to be in the room as I pushed my baby out of my vag (Clearly professional though he didn’t look)
