Don’t forget crime, the smell, and tons of people you would rather not exist within 100 miles of you. Everything you could ever want? What the hell is that anyway? Its not what you do, but who you do it with that matters.

This may be true for the UK, but in America land is cheap and plentiful and the sprawl grows quickly. There is little to no justification to live in a cramped city, especially after you get married.
