@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: It is supposed to be going to the FCC in November. They just ran a logo design competition on their blog over the past week and were accepting applications for an Early Adopters Program, which is also closed at this point I believe.

@Don Is: Maybe square feet of roof? That would seem to make a lot more sense. There is no way there are 20 times as many buildings as there are people in the entire metro area.

Earlier today I saw an article about which Dexter characters should be killed off. I immediately thought "all of them, except maybe Dexter."

@Canon7D-Fanboy: I thought the same thing. The heat trail is a dead give away that it wasn't nearly as close as it first appeared.

I love that it sticks out of the pocket just a little bit, should make it nice and easy to steal.

@Garion: If I'm not mistaken, BIG's proposal was a far more upfront spelling of the city name, using block letters to create the five buildings. Do you know if that was part of the design brief?

This kind of stuff irritates the hell out of me, because for the amount of money spent making stupid circular holes in the house, they could have invested and designed something way cooler. Like sun shades and integration of natural systems. Instead, the whole building is a big toy, just like the cars parked in…

@Ian Logsdon: I was thinking the same thing. Why would you want a tablet with a phone and data connection when you could just use the ones in your phone? The Archos seems like it will be a better deal.
