Other than the dealer not being able to gouge and the buyer misrepresenting their trade in, why wouldn’t a dealer want this? All you need to pay is a car prep who can explain the buttons and pair the buyers phone to the car.

Everything. Especially here in the salt, even if you buy something that will last long enough mechanically it will rust out before you can justify the expense. 

Was this an issue in the 1960's and early 70s? I’ve heard about the MSRP of the cars back then but not a dealer mark up. At least in 30 years when these change hands at a $1,000,000 I will feel confident I couldn’t afford them 30 years earlier.

This is bananaland. Making the truckers buy higher levels of insurance is not going to lead to safer driving. Unless you are an owner/operator you probably have no idea what the truck has for coverage.

It has been 4 days since our last storm, the roads are white with salt. Wind blows snow on them and melts creating a new salt brine. I washed my car 20 miles from home and it was salt white when I got home.
