Much of the profit & taxes from ‘foreign makes built in USA’ go to - Gasp! - the American business arm of those companies...

we could very likely see an end to internal combustion engines in our lifetimes

Is this for just VW or VAG?

Now take away the techno soundtrack, the pretentious narration, and the quick-edit camera work, and what’s left?

People say the same about modern F1...

I tried so hard to keep a straight face, but when Mr. Regular calls you screaming on the toilet, it's basically impossible.

I agree. I own a DS and it's fantastic.

Likewise! To me, I want as much licensed things as possible in the games. As dumb as it may sound, I'm less interested in Burnout simply because none of the cars (although many are quite derivative) are representative of real cars.

Luigi Passes "GO." Luigi collects $200.

I have nothing to add except that I'm really, really proud of how this .GIF turned out.

It's a cool DLC Mercedes is one of the best car manufacturers out there, these cars look beautiful it's fun to have them in your game especially when it's free. If you don't like Mercedes you can always use all the other standard Mario-Kart 8 vehicles.

Nintendo announced some good stuff that's coming to Mario Kart 8 in a new update alongside the...controversial Mercedez Benz DLC pack. They're incremental tweaks, but they sound like welcome improvements all the same. Here are the ones I'm looking forward to:

I'm not sure why the Mercedes DLC is "controversial". I realize it's odd and out of place, but consider:

Both the Silver Arrow and the Roadster appear to be using the Retro Off-Road tires. I'm assuming the DLC comes with 3 frames, 1 set of tires (for the GLA), and maybe a glider. Personally, I want to ride around in that Roadster. So classy.

I might hate myself for it, but I'm totally gonna be cruising around in that silver arrow when the dlc comes out.

No you are just a plain spoilsport. you think to much on something that is not supposed to be THAT deep.

Seriously. I dunno. This seems fun. And it's FREE. Who gives a damn if it's product placement?

Totally agree. First it was Obamacare, now it's free-optional extra downloads for a video game that may or may not be only available in Japan. WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN??????????!
