Whatever makes you feel better.

No reason to roll over, though. Disagreements are one thing, but illiteracy should be as scarce as small pox in a venue powered by the written word.

Please read the article before commenting on it. At least skim the top.

Gotta love the smart ad by Amazon right below the article, listing the films the deceased worked on. Reminds me of the Robin Williams movies being pushed all over following his death.

PALUMP

I've had no qualms until this week, and I'm sure I can work through this week's changes. If I'm being honest, book Shae really made Tysha work.

Someone should redub the show as "Game of Thrones: The Abridged Series."

That's fair. Discussing the subject here reminds me that book Shae was integral to the tragic effect of the Tysha reveal anyhow.

They weren't bad effects. It was just jarring to me. [laughs]

Aye, I'll give it that.

That's true. The show doesn't have the luxury of Tyrion's ruminations. I feel we've lost something this year because of that, but it will be a gainful handicap next year. No "where do whores go"! WOOOOOOOOO!

Knowing the outcome skews all of our viewing, whether we like it or not, but I stand by my assessment that the editing in that scene was notably lax. Not knowing the outcome amplifies the impact of the scene for sure, but I don't see why they couldn't have streamlined it a little to better convey the prowess of both

I can't see anyone familiar with his work on any level not drawing that comparison right away. It was surreal.

The Winged Wolf earns his red wings? Seven hells…

I've never heard that position on the Tysha reveal. Interesting. I'm actually a huge fan of book Shae, precisely because she goes hand-in-hand with the Tysha revelation. The truth is all the more heartbreaking knowing that the love that Tyrion thought was a lie was true all along, while the love of his present was a

Clarification: He performed all of those actions in a single take, but I can't confirm (and even doubt) they nailed it on the first take. Just marveling at the fact he performed all that choreography in its entirety.

Not to mention the logistics. Lots of guest stars required to drive that scene home. I really wanted them to show Beric's seventh death at the end of S3. Now I guess we won't ever see that onscreen…

Dude, the mammoth (singular) was applied perfectly. The real relative waste were those skeletal wights with no blue eyes. For better and worse, that was some Harryhausen action right there taking precedent over a striking Leaf/Bloodraven.

I find the enthusiasm of non-readers pleasurable and refreshing, not to mention humbling. Keeping them in mind helps me not shit on the show when my inner purist comes knocking. Their experience speaks volumes for the show's native qualities.

I'm wondering how they'll fluff up his arc moving forward. Whatever will he think to himself in his spare moments without "wherever whores go" branded into his brain?
