I found the fact they picked a prepubescent girl as the symbol for their “female power” statement off putting already. Women have to fight enough to not be called girls. I suppose a woman standing up to the bull would have been just too literal.

Right? Ever since I heard about this I thought what? Why not an Amazon? Or Hera to the Bull Zeus. Or I dunno literally anything that is not completely infantilising.

I’m still kind of mad that ‘female empowerment’ is embodied by a girl, rather than a grown-ass woman. But I guess girls are non-threatening enough to not crush the testicles of these manbabies....

I guess it’s hilarious if you’ve never been grabbed by a guy or been the subject of harassment and vile words at work or on the street. Congratulations for that.

At the very least he’s normalizing it. He’s also shitting all over an attempted symbol of women’s empowerment. Earth to Wall Street, you might want to clean up your image with real changes if you don’t want to be viewed this way. You own this image now.

It’s simulated pedophilia. The entire reason he’s doing this is because the statue is of a female child.

I mean I still think there should be a line between humping an inanimate object and actual pedophilia which involves a real human child, but I don’t disagree that this is very disturbing. The fact that it doesn’t register as repulsive to him is just gross.

Honestly I wonder if this qualifies as borderline pedophilia. Beyond the stupidity of humping a statue, there should have been a thought going ‘hey, maybe I shouldn’t do this to a statue of a small child, because joking about fucking and rubbing my body against an image of a young girl is wrong’ through his head,…

I feel like there’s probably a picture somewhere with this guy’s hands all over the bull’s scrotum too.
