I’m actually having a hard time recalling which cookbook I acquired first. I suppose you might consider my mom’s Betty Crocker binder to by my first one, but I didn’t do a lot of cooking from it.

In college, one of my friends would occasionally bring in soppressata that he and his grandfather had made. He would dole it out to us like it was gold, which it was. It would always be gone far too quickly because, well, weed.
