I can tell that the full game is going to be really interesting with the crafting and upgrading you can do with your main base. I can’t wait to get into it, I’m really excited about the possibilities.

That’s the biggest weakness of this game so far for me. In Destiny it makes sense for some of the enemies to be bullet sponges but in this they are just people.
that’s a cool feature and good to know. hahaha...gg on the guy who got the hell out of Dodge.
I meant for the squad. He died and respawned away from us and complained about not hearing us. But it seemed weird that a squad would lose contact like that.
No, there’s four or five scattered across the map. Sometimes if a person sees too many people in one extraction zone they’ll leave and try to find a less populated map. Sometimes there’s security in numbers.
I enjoyed hanging out at extraction zones, freaking people out, making them wonder if I was going to attack them or not. They didn’t dare attack me first for fear of becomming rogue and thus open season for everyone else. Some people ran and hid. Some were VERY cautious.
Last night after I had extracted a bag full of gear, I was hanging around due to someone starting a second extraction immediately after. I could hear one guy talking to his friend about how easy it would be to drop a sticky bomb and take everyone’s loot. I had to pop in my headset and inform him that everyone now knew…
Played all last night and there are definitely more than 8 players per DZ. It can get pretty crazy.
If someone shoots you accidentely and they stop shooting you then they dont go rogue (there is a 20 second countdown that signifies if they keep shooting you they will go full rogue) and during that 20 seconds if you shoot them in retaliation you will go full rogue instead of them.
I was lazy too, then I did something evil. I ordered it from amazon, they immediately sent me the beta code, then i cancelled my preorder. I know its evil of me, but I needed to know. I was so doubtful about this game. Now it reminds me of Mass effect 1. The shooting is based on my stats and gun parts. There is even…
I’m not a fan of enemies having red meters that have to be lowered to kill them. It’s annoying and tedious. If I get a head shot he should drop. The enemies are bland too. They all look alike.
You can choose the server if your friends are elsewhere. You don’t go rogue for defending, if you and others are in an extraction or drop zone, until someone shoots everyone is the same color, but once that chopper comes in look out, that’s when people show their true colors. Last night my buddy and I went to an…
Great write up of your Dark Zone experience. I played with my wife and two friends last night, and the Dark Zone was easily the highlight of the beta. The PvE stuff was OK (we all liked scavenging through buildings for gear and supplies), but the “DayZ-styled multiplayer in the Dark Zone was awesome.
I have never really enjoyed any of these Tom Clancy-branded games since the earlier Splinter Cells, but when the huge suite of games came in a humble bundle I decided to jump in to mixed views on each of the bundled games. I did get a Beta key for the Division though, a game I paid hardly any attention to in the lead…
I believe that the tablet and second screen stuff got dropped early in the dev cycle
Nice write up of that aspect of the game. That’s what I was looking for. I am a fan of the more human side of multiplayer interaction and the ability to shape your own story as it were.
