Apparently he’s a conservative Christian, which apparently makes him the worst human scum imaginable. Even if he keeps it personal(like, say, Mike Nelson) rather than making a big show about it (like, say, Kirk Cameron).

Who are you saying had sex with a woman without her consent, Ansari? I don’t think that happened according to this article, unless you’re talking about another incident. Not saying his actions weren’t unacceptable, just that she cited him making intercourse movements but I don’t think it sounds like there was rape or

He didn’t “make” her do that. She was free to leave any time she wanted to. Nothing in that story, even if admitted to be 100% true would fit the legal definition of “rape” under any statuette in the country.

How is Chris Pratt a terrible person?

I don’t want to start shit but a one time offense doesn’t mean people can’t say sorry and be punished for what they did and move on and support a cause. We’ve all done shitty things, nobody is perfect. I used to have crappy views about transgenders. I have a friend who’s husband transitioned and they invited me to

My rule: do not expect me to answer your text within half a work day. Yes. Seriously. If you want me, call me, I don’t care how much you hate phone calls. Texts are easy to miss.

Wait, is 1.5+ hours really not an acceptable reply time?? How on earth are you supposed to live your life in meatspace if you must constantly be on-call and tethered to your phone?

Right? The LW is all ‘his problem’, but it’s really her problem. He’s texting just fine, according to his phone and inclinations. She’s the one that’s having the problem. Which is not to say she’s not allowed to view this as a problem, but it’s not his.

Ugh—the thing I hate most about texting is that people feel like they’re entitled to your time and attention wherever whenever...

Shakespeare: “Striving to better, oft we mar what’s well.”

I am done with calling out the actresses on this shit. Call out the magazine, the conglomerate who owns the magazine, etc. This is not her fault. We’re playing games with women who want to help because they arent 100% perfect meanwhile people are getting away with rampant discrimination, assault etc.

You know, sometimes people say things not because they are strictly true, but because generous words can lift someone up and make their day.

It’s also pretty hard to spare any anger over these women in this day and age.

Thank you. I know this was a joke in this blog post, but I am sick and tired of pitting women against each other. What has any of the male singers done for us lately?

That is amazing of Taylor Swift! Katy Perry also does big charity work for kids, UNICEF, AIDS and made huge donations to Planned Parenthood. They both rock but if this spurs them to donate more it’s a competition I endorse!

I will never understand the active tearing down of Swift on this site.

Yeah, I think now that she had such a successful pop album with 1989, she’s probably less concerned about keeping the country vs. pop wall up. Plus, she won Song of the Year *this year* at the Country Music Association awards, for a song she wrote for someone else, so she knows she’s doing just fine there.

Hazel - I must respectfully disagree. This album is VERY sexy. As proof, I cite the many orgasms I’ve enjoyed while listening to Dress, I Did Something Bad, Delicate, Don’t Blame Me, and Gorgeous, and the corroborating testimony of my previously TS-skeptical boyfriend!

I mean, she just sold over a million albums in the first week though, so I think she’s out of the hole? She may have screwed up, but Kanye’s been an ass too, and I think they’re both doing fine.
