The lack of clothes and jewelry tells you plenty about the story, imho.

This show is so obviously supposed to be satire, it kind of worries me that folks can’t see that. Was Joseph Fiennes’s casting in poor taste? Absolutely, but that was kind of the point. Could they have found a black actor to perform a similarly satirical performance? Maybe, and maybe that’s what they should have done…
