An idea: Stop writing about him. Really.  No one should care about anything he says.

Colin is from Tom’s first marriage, along with daughter Elizabeth. Chet and his brother Truman, who keeps a low profile, are with Rita. Maybe Chet could take a lesson from his brother.

He has a five year old daughter.  I hope he spends as little time with her as possible.  No little girl needs this in her life.  Also, he claims he’s put substance abuse behind him?  Yeah, right, Chet.

They’re not mad, just disappointed.

Can’t say I’m not disappointed. I never imagined Rita and Tom raising a son who turned out to be such a dick.

Saying you’re not anti-vax while sowing dissent and misinformation about vaccines is like play #1 by anti-vaxxers. Jenny McCarthy says she’s not anti-vaxx too. I’ll judge her by her actions first, not her PR statements to save face.

Dammit, I really wanted Levar Burton to host going forward.

Isn’t her stance that she’s “vaccine-hesitant” and a low-vaccine family? Essentially just anti-vaxx dogwhistles, the basic equivalent of “just asking questions” while continuing to promote the conspiracy theories.

Maybe she shouldn’t host either. Let someone else host and make sure they aren’t awful. 

I’m confused why Lavar Burton wasn’t the IMMEDIATE choice. Nothing made more sense than having him host.

She’s not a great choice either.

Since forever? Only live sports get weekend ratings. Otherwise, the 7-10 PM Mon-Thurs slots dominate what is left of primetime television.

Oh well, I’m done watching that show now. LeVar only had 5 days and evolved quite a bit over each episode. I think he had true potential to be just as good of a host as Trebek.

I wonder how many people chiming in were regular fans of the show before all of this. I imagine the network primarily relied on TV ratings and focus groups of longtime Jeopardy followers to choose their host. It’s the tough choice of trying to doppelganger what the show has always been or bringing in a different…

Well on the one hand we have the universally loved LeVar Burton, and on the other hand we have a guy with a long history of hostile workplace litigation... the choice is easy.
