Yeah, looking at the pictures I expected a whole different story...

I love tomatoes, but whatever those red things they put on Taco Bell food is a mystery to me.

I can look back at nostalgically now. But I still never want to see that movie again.

My kids are grown with their own kids now, but this comment transported me back to the 90's when my son would sing “this is Halloween!” over and over and over...

Well in all fairness, a house in Dayton is pretty damn cheap.

Came here to suggest FODMAP!

I honestly doubt anyone cares...

Hispanic is not a race.

I eat ‘em fresh off the vine - the best way!

What extra tomatoes? My vines are full of green tomatoes, and I just pruned the hell out of them to encourage ripening. So far I’ve gotten exactly three full size tomatoes and a handful of the cherry variety. Usually by this time of year I’m starting to get a bit tired of them...

Pedantically, Canada is still in America.

Thank you! The idea that we peak in college, or god forbid, high school, is just a ridiculous notion. There is so much that goes on beyond those times - they are literally preparing us for our real life.
If the best times in life are over before I even hit maturity why even bother with the rest of it?
I’m 56 now, and

I used to feel similarly, but I discovered sugar-free ketchup and it changed my opinion. (I love tomatoes, but not really ketchup, but it is good on the hotdog I eat once a year, and as an ingredient)

Great description. Very evocative!

Oh boy, can I relate. “Don’t read the comments” can be solid advice (that I don’t heed very well).

Please don’t encourage them.

I believe many people (including me) react to the headline and skip the article - especially if its something we care very little about.

Goddamn, you are speaking my language!

As a white parent, I would like that as well.

Thanks! You do the same - it’s good for the head.
