I thought Salisbury steak was a version of cube steak, not ground beef. At least that’s the way I’ve always made it.
That and chicken-fried steak are two of the best uses of cube steak!
And as a former New Mexican, I’m here to say that NM green chile is superior to Colorado’s.
I just got some and the entire middle part is just pink. No vanilla, with strawberry in the middle, just solid pink.
I’m not happy.
I’m not a vegan or a vegetarian, but I’m put off by meat, so the fake stuff is the best thing that’s happened to me in about 50 years!

I live in Oregon and we had to have a ballot measure to get fluoride in our water because of all the crunchy granola types who didn’t want it in our water.
I used to have to give my kids fluoride tabs.
I just go full baking soda! So clean and refreshing.
I grew up in Southern Ohio and never heard of such a thing!
My Dad did eat a lot of pimiento loaf, though...
I’m 56 and my Dad used to eat it. I’ve never known of anyone else who did.
I’m pretty sure he’s always looked like that.
