I’ll have to check that out!

I live here. I can’t watch that show.

Not only did she make bad choices, her mother pimped her out for those choices.

My family always knew I was a little off, but this wasn’t even something people talked about when I was a kid. (In my teen years people started talking about hyperactivity - the precursor to ADHD) I also had horrible PMS that was just being recognized as a valid thing.
Anyhoo, I didn’t get diagnosed or medicated until

I’m sorry about your Dad. Mine was an asshole as well.

I’m not sure if you have BPD or not, but your understanding of it is quite impressive!

Thank you!

Haha! I also have BPD, but not so extreme. I just literally wrote the exact opposite!
I agree it’s performative, but don’t you think that is part of the delusion of the (untreated) disease? If I miss my medication for even a few days my mind starts wandering to very strange places, and I start thinking I “know”

I am very resentful of him. He has made BPD into something scary and to be mocked. It is real, and it is damaging, but millions of people choose to treat their disease so it does not manifest itself in such damaging ways. He chooses not to, and gives all the rest of us a bad name.

As a bipolar person, that can absolutely be part of the delusion of the disease, if not treated.

Much like racists, sexists often believe that they’ll be treated by others the way they treat others, which is why they’re so threatened.

Exactly! Which is why he was so defensive in his interview with Wallace. He was so sure that nobody could answer those really hard questions, that are basic to most functioning adults.

But he is a way to bring some older Trump supporters to swing to Biden.

This is Peak Portland.

I’m a white woman who lives in Portland Oregon. This, and many other photos and videos have been posted about this woman, all lauding her.
I felt uncomfortable with it from the beginning, for all of the reasons listed here.
This was posted on a facebook page showing this photo, and you wouldn’t believe the outrage

Congratulations!

I’ve been in my house for almost 30 years. I paid $26,500 for it and it’s worth about $300,000 now. However, that is meaningless since I don’t plan on moving and if I did I wouldn’t be able to afford a comparable place - even to rent!

My backyard is my sanctuary. A hammock and a cocktail after work - bliss. But the lawn part is slowly being taken over by food and flowers.

As if those kids don’t already have a ton of shit they’re going to have to work out in therapy.
