Thank GOD for GPS systems though. I think most of us here are of a vintage where we can remember our parents (or in some cases, ourselves) using actual fucking maps for these road trips. Literally every fight I can think of from my family road trips back in the day were map-related.

I wore a half shield for about the last ~10 years or rec hockey. I had surprisingly few issues, but then last year my chin was split open by a high stick, and decided it was probably time to go back to the birdcage. Rec hockey simply isn’t worth losing teeth over.

Canadian here... This dude needs to chill a bit. I agree that Bettman horribly botched Southern expansion. They went overkill on southern teams (ie. Phoenix, Florida, TB, Anaheim, San Jose). It was too much all at once. That said, I don’t think it’s fair to slag Nashville as a bad hockey city. It seems to be working…

Not disagreeing with you... Although, I think he took issue with the quick pitch because it happened when the Braves were up comfortably. Like, one of those ‘unwritten rules of baseball’ kinda things.
