“Mad World” is the opposite of a party song. I love it, but all I could think was, “Archie and Veronica are such downers!” Who would pick this song?
Thank you Sharon Reed. I needed this. We as a people needed this. Let it be known that on this day, Thursday 7th December 2017, that I am truly appreciative.
I have never considered myself a Skeet Ulrich fan, but after seeing what he has done with the role of FP, I get it.
Honestly the most ridiculous part of this episode was the biker crowd booing AFTER Archie and Veronica stopped singing.
The Gary Jules cover was used in a Gears of War commercial in 2006.
High water mark in this trainwreck of an episode.
At that point i don’t think Betty cared if Jughead wanted her to or not. She was looking for any excuse to do it. She came to the party in the lingerie.
I shut this shit off as soon as they all had their power stance moment. This is not a show for thinking adults
You’re too nice, LaToya. This was atrocious, especially coming off of the high of last week. I think the only good part was the sad, barely-a-revelation that Veronica’s parents don’t love each other.
The most absurd part of Archie’s “buried” feelings for Betty is that at the beginning of the episode, he was saying how Veronica was the light in the dark or some mumbo jumbo. None of the relationship drama this episode worked. Hell, I’d argue this episode really didn’t work. And the Betty stripper scene was very…
“Well, then, leave him... at home.”
Reasonable Discussions is dead, too.
The entire incident was belligerent, rude, and entirely unwelcome in its context
I read between the lines. Mainly that you’re the kind of person who would say “This isn’t the right place for that kind of confrontation!” To which I would ask, “Where is?” Are we supposed to wait for Hoffman et. al. to host a panel on sexual harassment before it gets brought up?
What’s it like being a sexist asshat?
Nope. Oliver brought up harassment allegations against Hoffman while they were discussing a movie centered around harassment allegations. It’s literally the perfect time to ask Hoffman about them.
Dillane did a great job as Stannis. Icy, competent, authoritative, obsessed with justice. It was the writers who ruined his character by having him burn his beloved daughter to death. That didn’t turn me against Dillane’s performance, but it WAS the dumbest thing GOT has done. Yes, even worse than the Jaime Cersei…
It was easy to tell who the Korn Boice were in high school because they usually wore Jncos and smoked weed at lunch behind the bleachers.
The narrative beats in this episode were hilariously insane. I’m still struggling which of the following was my favorite:
