*slides a drink down the bar* Put that one on my tab!
Oh fine.
From your initial comment to @avclub-4b10e4650529f74c417d6718429a968e:disqus:
I'm not going to hold my breath for your explanation of why asking for folks to be considerate of spoilers is somehow immature.
Seriously, wtf is wrong with people?
I'm rooting through the comments because it's for EPISODE 10, which is the episode I just watched.
I'm so glad you responded! (my aunt is indeed as tremendous to me as an adult as she was to me when I was a kid and much more easily impressed.)
I've got some UK buddies who hooked me up with some grime stuff back in the day. Pretty good stuff, but it didn't seem to age well..
I'd heard 'Grindin' back when it came out and really liked it, but I oddly started with 'My Name is My Name'-I got hooked on the beat for 'Numbers on the Boards'..
I'm good with any AV club mention of Clipse because it means I can look through the comments and get some stuff to look up on YouTube and listen to. I don't know a lot about rap, but I have learned to look out for stuff with Pusha T, who is just phenomenal.
They really should've disabled comments for that one.
Just chiming in (a few days late!) to say 'yay' for a tennis thread! It may not be as popular as baseball and football around here, but there are a few of us AV clubbers who are fans.

Even the folks who were reluctant to try the instruments could sing along (especially with Beatles songs, which are so familiar).…
I've gone from 'Save me Jebus' back to merely 'fuck this'. "Save me Jebus!' was this morning when I was slightly panicked about my lecture for class this morning (we're talking about Animation this week, not one of my research strong points-our film was 'My Neighbor Totoro'). But then class went ok (not great, but…
I went to uni in the UK and pretty much left my soul there-after all these years I still religiously watch football (and insist on calling it that) and listen to BBC 6 music. I think Shaun Keaveny is hilarious-my two favorite things to listen to are Gilles Peterson on Saturdays and Steve Lamacq every day.
On the radio, yes. I'm too old for Radio 1 these days and I end up listening to BBC 6 music most days from the Tune In app on my tablet.
Mike Skinner was on BBC 6 music a few weeks ago with a 3 hour block devoted to storytelling in songs. It was a fun listen, and is still up on the BBC 6 music website if anyone's interested. A solid collection of stuff from everyone from Johnny Cash to Gladys Knight, Bob Dylan to Joni Mitchell. If this sounds like your…
To be fair, the story was told by the journalist, not the players. I'm sure it's a very different perspective.
