Then maybe skim past her writing on it? Seriously, wtf is the point of complaining in multiple posts about someone? After a while, it absolutely seems personal, and petty, and mean. I can't figure out why someone would go out of their way to do this. What does it accomplish? Do you feel better? Superior? Are you

If it's any consolation, if I had dinner parties, I'd invite you!

I was wondering the same thing. It seems like @jordanorlando:disqus just might have a bit of a problem with her, but I'd need to see more of an opinion to be sure.

Good to know-I know absolutely zero about football. It also occurs to me that this may also be Sam trying to get out in front of a lot of inevitable scrutiny.

This seems like a complicated issue, no?

I'm giving you benefit of the doubt! :)

Indeed. I should just give up.

Yeah, I absolutely get it! I think knowing that these are actual people made it even more fraught. The interviews with the real men were just amazing.

Oh that's right, I forgot it was in the credits!

I've been reading the comments for the show all along but cannot bring myself to rewatch. Spike TV often runs marathons of BoB but I can't watch more than an episode or two, I can't imagine watching each and every episode again-it was harrowing when I did so on the original airing.

I don't disagree with your sentiment here, but I also think that this is one of those scenes that really shouldn't be lifted out of the film. In the context of the entire film the scene makes a little more sense. Yes, he is still an asshole, but there's a lot more room for nuance if you watch the entire thing. Also a

I don't think I've ever shouted as loudly, or as viciously at my television than I did at Lt. Dike for putting my boys in danger. Those were my boys. I still remember how upset I was.

Aww, I dunno about that!

It's five episodes in, which is a pretty generous number in television these days, but I have to say I'm reserving judgment on the success of this show's structure until I see all of the season. I think wanting to see just how it will sort out the themes it is presenting is the main reason I look forward to it every

Only watching the 1st season of 'Heroes' remains one of the best TV decisions I've ever made.

And the 70s in general, really.

Thank you, and thank you for the advice. I have a little note on my desk here that says 'The best dissertation is a finished dissertation'.

I am in the midst of a writing binge on the last chapter of my dissertation; the section I'm working on is partly about diners and Five Easy Pieces and when I saw the picture for this column and the title I thought I'd finally lost my goddamn mind.

Oh here we go again. She's not judgmental or condescending. Seriously, where is proof of that in this episode? Or any episode? One more time: Just because she's a woman, and assertive, and confident in her intelligence does NOT mean she's condescending. Get over it and quit posting the same thing every week.

The more I root for Molly the more I hate Malvo and can't wait until he gets got.
