As far as blogging goes, WordPress wins. But for one webcomic client, I found that Tumblr's system worked better for waht he was trying to do than a full-fledged WordPress blog. He loves it, and frequently sends me merchandise. I guess each platform has its own niche.

The only reason I still run MS Office (2000 edition, mind you) is because it comes on the company computers and can't be changed from the native. Otherwise, OpenOffice all the way.

VOTE: WordPress

@artdude102: Brilliant. I've always wanted a dog, but I don't think I could stand the walks and pee everywhere.

@JuryDuty: I do this same kind of thing, but on my bike every 2nd Saturday of the month. One time, I was lucky enough to find an Xbox 360 which just needed a new fan. The owner was kind enough to box it before he threw it out as well.

@Ozzie, The Banana Man Fan: Didn't expect this response. I checked about 3 months ago and it seemed that I needed to make a Hotmail at the time. I guess they changed that. And I was okay with using Google Docs because my company already uses Google Apps, and thus I already had one of those accounts. I guess you're all

Personally, the fact that I have to sign up with Microsoft and get the whole Hotmail, Live, etc. is enough of a deterrent for me to stich with Google Docs.

As a developer, I'd have to side with Android. Though I own an iPod touch and love it, the fact that the SDK costs $99 and Apple's rediculous App Store nazism resulted in me moving over to the Android platform. Also, those phones are just a lot more customizable, if not as user friendly or speedy.

I just bought an 32GB iPod touch about 3 months ago and put it under warranty. Do I get a new shiny one from Apple, or do I just get the free iOS upgrade?

The panorama idea is great. I have a spanning view of Niagra Falls across my bedroom wall and its a constant target of compliments. I used PhotoMerge, and have used it ever since. Its worth checking out if you already use Photoshop.

@fredcadete: Agreed. These, and those posts about desktop management. Mine just looks like internet-vomit.

VOTE: Me.

@Nick1693: Awesome. I've heard a lot of the same stuff from my friends who also do this kind of work. I guess I'll be sticking with Bluehost then.

@Phoshi: True. I'll check out Conky and Samurize. Thanks for your help, Phoshi!

@Phoshi: I want to set this up on my Linux computer. Any ideas?

@tuxus: Agreed. Thanks for the explanation, I usually just write businesses off if they have bad WOT ratings.

@Phoshi: Sure is. (: Also, do you really see any benefit of using a productivity tool such as Rainmeter, or is it just a timesink?

@Phoshi: If you must. I prefer "infos" myself.
