I never finished 1. Did most of it but it seemed like way too much walking around to deal with quests and became very boring. I tried several times to get into 2 and never got much more than an hour or two into the game.

I don't think that's the only issue here, bad early release. Steam has a terrible website for searching, they have terrible customer service, and no return policy no matter what the issue.

I tried Witcher 2 quite a few times and just gave up. I hated the controls, combat, movement in general.
