Looking at this picture just reminds me that these characters were grown men (Spock actually being more of an old man, even more so than McCoy). When you put them next to the Abrams characters, it makes the difference even more stark. The Abrams characters are children playing dress-up. It hard to take them seriously

Yeah... Bones being the third leg of the tripod ranks right up there with "KIRK IS NOT A DOUCHE!"

Kirk Spock and McCoy, the three legged stool. that is the problem with the JJ verse, he's always off by 33.3%. Kirk needs McCoy just as much as he needs Spock, and out of that grew a tremendous bond for the three of them.

I was totally going to post that!! My main problem with Abrams' Star Trek is that the bromance is between all three of them. You can't just leave out Bones! Especially since he's my favorite one...

Xena and Gabrielle. <3

The Doctor and Sarah Jane!

I realize there is no nudity here, but when you are the boss in an office of 25 women, this post is not entirely safe.

I find it really annoying when Disney (or whatever entity) tries to turn a classic villain into an accidental asshole.

I thought that House MD went off the rails and became ridiculously implausible. But the last episode, while no more plausible, somehow redeemed it a little.

Pete Campbell so thoroughly ruined the 4th season of Angel that I very nearly stopped watching.

And then Season 5 f'ing rocked.

I actually asked Dr. Wife why doctors bother inducing after due dates (doesn't the body just naturally do shit... naturally?) and she said that the baby can get too big to birth and it actually starts ingesting meconium (baby shit.)

I have a 6 month old, and I work full time. I could quit to stay home, but it's HIGHLY unlikely I would ever find a job like my current one again. Quitting at this point would be career suicide. So here I am. Not that I really mind. I do love my job and I firmly believe that being a working mom will make me a better

Agents of SHIELD would be Gotham Central.

Robert Downey Jr?

Did we forget someone...

Doesn't it seem awful obvious who it was?

@ABGuest - There have been a number of studies which suggest that workers who get to have vacations are more productive than those who don't, more than making up for the time off "wasted" enjoying life with friends and family. Funnily enough, same goes for hours in the working day - there's science which suggests that

Ya know, it doesn't matter at all, but in case you are curious, albeit is a word. "I'll be it," is not the droid you are looking for. Feel free to use whatever floats your boat, but since knowledge is power and all....

The US has got the most backward social system for any first world country. 10 days standard vacation? Wow, seriously wow.

My problem is that while I have great vacation availability in my job, my husband has the standard two weeks. You take visits to family and expense involved, and real vacations, just the two of us, aren't realistic. We try to take days off to make long weekends when we can, but they don't involve going anywhere and
