I totally agree. I think there is a core in Crystal Skull that is a really good movie, right in line with the camp fun of the originals. TED talks are a hell of a thing in 2023. They are damn popular now, but that is a whole other level. I think that might actually be a very optimistic view of the future.
The idea is that you use it when, say, you have eight hours without sunlight or enough wind. In those eight hours you dump the water, then when the sun come back out, you pump the water back up. It doesn't really create new energy, it just 'holds on to it' for use when the sun is gone.
So very much in the "shouldn't be sticking your hand in it" camp.
