@Felipe058: I've been told it gets better. I'm about halfway into season two and it is a little bit better, but it's not yet wonderful or frankly all that good, like people promised. But I've been told I have to finish the whole second season before I render judgment.
I have a humble request for no more bee images like that one on the front page. My coworkers look at me funny when I scream in horror.
@sammy baby: I will jump to the defense of action movie love (after all who among us doesn't have that one movie in our collection that we can't even begin to defend. Mine, by the way, is Troy), but I can think of no way to defend Gamer. Just bad and dumb and horrid. I'm kind getting nauseous just thinking about…
@TheDarkWayne: It makes me wonder why they didn't just make the film about him. I'd see that twice.
The last few post about how they tired to interject some deeper meaning into the story (after most of the story had been written, always a bad sign) had me worried about Bridges in this. Nothing makes a movie worse than some faux-Zen rant issuing from the only A-list actor in the film (no offense to you Michael…
@j.piatt: Actually, I pretty sure what she was saying is that she likes 'silly action movies' and has a high tolerance for dumb story as a backdrop for fun action.
@Moziles: Though I share your sentiment (after all one cannot prove a negative) I think what they meant was, even if they had gotten positive results, it would not have proven their theory.
The fact that string theory had any testable claims is news to me. Despite the results, this is most assuredly a step in the right direction.
@Smeagol92055: Don't forget the polar bear, so the bad guy has someone to fight.
Best post EVER!!!
Mixed feelings of 'oh goodness why' and 'so happy it makes me giggle.'
@bluebottle: Even I, a die hard Synder hater, can't deny he makes stunning visuals. Just in those clips there were some things that blew me away (but also a few moments that were too self aware of how awesome they looked - "Hey, audience, NOTICE MY COOLNESS" not that Snyder is ever subtle).
@FlirtySanchez: Minority of at least two. It looks like it should be an ad for something, not a movie.
I looks like a Zach Snyder film. However you feel about that.
@deckard97: Matrix.... complicated....
Thanks so much for keeping us up to date.
@PlasmaG.: That is a very good point. Strong correlation is strong correlation and the cause of it should be investigated. But we should avoid assigning cause until we can really understand what is happening.
There is always one big flaw in these studies if you ask me - cause and effect. Who is to say that there isn't something about holding a conservative or liberal belief and the life style it entails that leads to a certain social behavior.
