@3V3RYMAN: Young Justice was a legitimate team stared by Tim Drake and Impulse after Dick Grayson took the Titans and made them into the Outcasts. It was the first team for the second generation of side kicks, after the first generation became proper heroes (like Wally) or died (like Jason Todd).

@Arsnof: You cough that like it's a bad thing.

Not enough Superboy or Wondergirl, too many grown ups.

@g.blazers1: My mental image of the Star Wars universe just got 400% more awesome.

@GibsonT: Do you have a reason for assigning the names the way you did?

First off - WOW CAN'T WAIT.

@Origamido: I would most certainly not want to be seen as making the assumption that evolution = advancement. It's an erroneous claim and I try to avoid it.

@Brodka: regrettably: I agree completely. But who is to say that some forms of many different kinds of animals used tool 3 million years ago and have since either stopped or died out.

Here are my two cents. If we have crows on the earth today who can use tools, build tools, and teach their kids to do the same, then tool use is older and more widespread than we can ever know.

@Death_By_SnuSnu: And on the topic of how character personalities change over time, even Guy Gardner was uptight back in those days.

@Death_By_SnuSnu: The GL/GA books are so much fun. Such a product of their time.

@Daftmouse: If I had to bet I would say it had something to do with the huge amounts of negative feedback they got on the new Superman suit.

@saladinahmed: It's really hard to talk about Hal because he more than folks like Clark and Bruce undergoes serious personality change every time someone does a backstory retelling.

@ShanaLD: Well, if you start talking about GL going that far back you have a lot of stuff to contend with. Suffices to say that this trailer does shows of one of the many sides of Hal (though he also has a side that is a serious, nose to the grindstone hero).

@Evdor: Yeah I fully believe, the Iron Man feel could be intentional on the part of the people that cut the trailer. They pretty much want to duplicated Iron Man's success. The actual GL film could be a wonderful interpretation of Hal (who as you mention, is a hotshot), and this trailer doesn't show it for the sake

It's so hard to tell with a trailer like this, but it really has a feel like it is trying to be the DC Iron Man, with the womanizing and the fast talking humor.

Forget the freshman 15, what about the 'just got married 50.'

Last time I talked to my nephew he told me "I like the Star Wars on the DVDs, not the Star Wars on the video. The ones on the DVDs are more fun."

@Charlie Jane Anders: Fanfic is the reason I don't really want her to do something like a book about the founders of Hogwarts. There are so many fan fics out there about that (and some of them quite good) that it doesn't feel like ground she has to cover. It's nice to leave the fans something to do on their own.

I heard a rumor a while back that she was writing another series about a different character under a different name. But I think that was probably just a rumor.
