Starred you because I’ve never understood unmarked police cars used for traffic stops. The whole point is safety right? So what do speeding people do when they see marked police cars?  That’s right, slow down.  Unmarked police cars doing traffic stops is about money, pure and simple.

The Ford Motor Company’s “The Huddle” email in full:

I mean, nothing surprises me much any more, but this is especially insignificant.

Some cars do tell you that information.  The problem is people can’t be bothered to fix it.

Of all the stories to come out of this presidency, I have no idea why this one gets so much airplay. It’s just adding a division. By your logic, why not roll the air force back into the army, thus preventing any aircraft arms races.

Ah, yet another political article telling other people how bad they are and assuming their intelligence because they disagree with you.

Sorry, not buying it. This was likely the safest time this could have been done. As you said, hardly anyone is on the road. I’m not buying the Alex Roy argument either, “They could have hit a truck carrying precious medical supplies”. Well, yeah but I’ll bet that’s statistically pretty low. I think most of the

I think the idea that it’s somehow worse to do this during the coronavirus is quite wrong—yes, a crash will pull resources away from the virus, but a crash during “normal” times could very well kill a family or other innocent roadgoers. Minimizing the risk of that kind of incident seems to at least balance the

“If literally one thing goes wrong—if the team needs to call for help or a tow truck, if they get stopped, if they crash—literally anything goes wrong here and these guys would be pulling resources from an otherwise already overloaded system, not to mention potentially increasing the risk of contracting coronavirus by

Because I think certain parts of Jalopnik find it gauche to own a fancy truck. They seem to be blind to the certain reasons for ownership.

Why hate on trucks? I prefer cars too but modern trucks really are the do it all vehicle. They make a lot more sense than an SUV to me.

Does it not surprise you that I also hate big trucks?

I love EVs and know they will be 50%+ of the cars on the road in 20 years.

That’s...not a bad take by Hachigo at all. He’s right that there are numerous hurdles to an EV replacing a gas-powered car at this time, and it’s not something that looks primed to change within the next decade barring an unprecedented investment into global infrastructure.

Maybe one of the largest and most successful carmakers on Earth sees more value in delivering reasonably-priced products with mass appeal over competing with Pedoman and his magical tent cars by blowing R&D on expensive pseudo-luxury EVs in a niche market.

This is one of the many reasons why I love Jalopnik: Useful, informative comments from the community that explain things that the writer didn’t mention.

she had sex with those under her...thus..no consent be given..thus...rape...

as for the photo..us copyright law..whoever takes the photo..owns it...and can do what they wish with it.

She violated house ethic rules...had an affair.....

this all stuff you would want a republican/male crucified for

I’m going to make a movie just like Yesterday where a guy wakes up and suddenly nobody but him remembers Steely Dan, and it will be a documentary about my life.

...sounds like a YouTube channel with four million subscribers.
