This is almost definitely a full or partially electric pickup. I believe back in February there where pictures going around of this exact truck with a charger plug into the front of it. This is a picture I feel that defiantly should have been in the article because it is more of a sign then a fake exhaust tip.  

While I feel bad for this guy and believe he should be owed something. What i got from reading the article over is it seems this guy is going the wrong way with all this and this is why the dealer is shutting him down and not helping him out.

If I had to guess I would say this is only a test mule for the next black series since they did the same thing back in 2011 when they were test the 2012 c63 black series components. Plus boss of AMG has already said the black series will always be a coupe.

I have to agree since it is the pre face-lift model and has stuff on the car that you would never be able to get if you got it from Mercedes like the sports grill on a luxury and even the wheels that only come with the C63.
