MY feline soulmate was also a Loki!!! I’m actually getting him tattooed on me next weekend - 9 years after his death. I adore his sister and the cat I adopted after he passed, but when I dream, he’s always the cat accompanying me on my adventures. Sometimes Yuna and Sokka make a cameo...but Loki’s ALWAYS there.

“there already is an issue with hollywood not realizing that female-led movies are winners. i think they needed to pick someone who was going to absolutely knock it out of the park and i don’t think gadot can do that. this is a huge role with the potential to create a fantastic franchise and if she isn’t up to

Great, so you’re putting the same bullshit pressures on her as the rest of the broverse who thinks a film like Catwoman should represent female led superheroe films as a freaking monolith and just stop making them period when one film sucks. Maybe you should be aiming your ire at the people who thought the shitty

Not only is it a fantastic book but it’s kind of perfect for a tv series adaptation - especially one that’ll put money into the visuals and character development and effort into making it very solid and clever with the overlapping of vignette stories that served as chapters. In my mind they could get a super solid 10

I read elsewhere that she was days away from giving birth to a new litter. :(

I would add that the first film really broke new ground when it showed that a girl and her cat story could be just as awesome and have just as much appeal as a boy and his dog story.

My three year old nephew was diagnosed with leukemia 6 weeks ago. He already can’t walk without braces and every day there’s another complication/side effect that sends them back to the hospital. If I had ten minutes alone with this piece of shit “representative” he would learn very fucking quickly how terrible injury

Yeah, I mean, I don’t know what to tell you. I think she’s a misled, privileged, uber Christian hard-line Republican who grew up as a blonde, upper class cheerleader type and got married to her college boyfriend and is currently incubating her 4th kid. She voted for Rubio. It sucks. I’m an outspoken, screaming liberal

UGHHHH. This reminds me of one of the first times I met one of my sisters-in-law whom bitterly said that Easter morning that she would never take her kids to the Easter Egg Roll under THAT President - the President at the time was Obama. She took her kids today though. I just don’t understand it. She’s a good person

It’s a pretty slow burn type of show and having binge watched the first couple seasons while watching the last two week by week, I can definitely say you get more out of it binging. There are other shows that I can still easily enjoy week by week, but this, unfortunately, is not one of them.

Yeah, I just turned 40 so it’s been about 27 years of this. Good times! For the most part, I’m just used to it and plan things accordingly. But I have one fibroid and one cyst currently that are adding to the fun right now so I may end up revisiting my options soon. There’s no winning though - either the worst day

I have genetic complications that limit my options.

Yep, I have that wonderful blood clot gene; family members have died from it so I stay away from hormonal birth control and this is also a factor in our decision to not have kids.

That interview with Matt Lauer was the first time I realized he was an unmitigated scumbag.

I’ve missed one day of school or work pretty much every month since junior high UNLESS my period started on a Friday or Saturday. I have my period for close to 7 full days, pain throughout that is mostly endurable with a steady stream of aleve or ibuprophen but my first full day is generally a nightmare that sometimes

My doctor who was treating me for MRSA actually said that we overwash and that’s how we end up breaking down barriers of oil that are supposed to protect us from things like MRSA getting a foothold. Tits, bits, and pits was pretty much exactly what he said, too - in more professional parlance, of course.

whoa. As an aside - regarding the other Unico movie, I remember also being so dissappointed with Katie the Cat’s decision to become human. Seriously, if one is already a cat, the only step up would be to become a unicorn. Which coincides with another comment I made on this post about how the Harpie and Red Bull were

It’s funny, I was fascinated by the Harpie and the Red Bull because I just “LOVED ALL ANIMALS EVEN THE BAD ONES”-6 Year Old Me. But the thing that actually truly scared me about that movie and later, book, was the Unicorn forgetting who she was and coming so close to remaining human and mortal. That was so scary and

Totally!!! Nightmare fuel. And if I’m remembering this right, wasn’t there a part where he was begging Unico to be his friend (trying to trick Unico) or maybe Unico was trying to get him to be her friend (more likely) but it was extra creepy? Ugh those eyes and that voice and good lord, how was this for kids??

I honestly think Unicorn make up is so big right now because it’s being catered to the now adult(ish?) generation of women who were around for the 80s unicorn sticker craze and trapper keepers and Lisa Frank everything stationery. Nostalgia is a powerful force for good, evil, and marketing. But seriously, does anyone
