I have a lot.
The primary one is probably liking The National though. They're very divisive, but I love them. Not liking them isn't a dealbreaker, but it certainly helps if someone's a fan.

One thing I didn't like about the sequel is that it was just so OKAY. Everything about it was just so generic.

I was literally about to post that same comment. When I read this I immediately thought of the questionnaire in High Fidelity.
Despite all his rage he is still just a Nicolas Cage.
Thank you so much for this. I love the title track of "Tallahassee" and "No Children" so I've wanted to get into more of their songs but didn't know how.
An AV Club comment sections where they mention The Devil Went Down To Georgia in the article is not complete without this:

This is the first song I heard from her (the second was "This Mess We're In", the one with Thom Yorke). I love both equally, but I haven't heard a lot of her other songs.
If I want to get farther into her music, where should I start?

Dane DeHaan is awesome. I haven't seen the movie he did with Daniel Radcliffe but he killed it in Chronicle, which I will keep talking about until it becomes a cult classic.
Kyle Smith is usually really unfunny too! This is amazing.
I disagree that the kids are amazing/special. Sure, Augustus is, but Hazel isn't for me because I know a lot of teenagers that are similar to her. It works probably because John Green doesn't talk down to his audience as much when he's writing (though he does pander a lot in his videos), which is what makes me like…
Would you rather see that or Benedict Cumberbatch?

another 9th generation Friends ripoff
I am not a fan of Midnight (of all the acts of the past few years why copy Bon Iver?), but I've actually been a fan of Magic thus far, even if I find the lyrics really simplistic.
Fucking Vida though. Anyone who thinks Coldplay is made by and for wimps should listen to "Yes."
Glad I'm not the only person that likes them, though I'm starting to think they have a Star Trek curse thing going on. Rush of Blood (2nd) was fantastic, Viva La Vida (4th) was brilliant… but Parachutes (1st) was just good, X&Y (3rd) wasn't great, and the less said about Mylo Xyloto (5th), the better.
(which is why I'm…
You're thinking of the Fault In Our Stars.
