In movies you had TS3 and The Social Network, in music you had High Violet and The Suburbs… it was just kind of all around awesome.

It's actually great and surprisingly funny given its reputation.
Slumdog Millionaire was just kind of really okay and not deserving of best picture at all. There were some cool moments but it really did nothing for me. That was the year where WALL-E and The Dark Knight could have been nominated for Picture, right? they kind of should have been.

My favorite from this movie/musical is definitely When Your Mind's Made Up, if only because of the 5/4 time signature and the build up toward the end (especially in the musical).
Falling Slowly is still brilliant though.
It's a shame that "Music + Lyrics" was so mediocre otherwise…
