Why try to set up a dog as a pal if you were going to ignore him the whole way otherwise?

If I wanted to run one of those lame races, I would, Chum.

Ever climb into the car from the passenger side? He makes fun of you for that.

I generally enjoyed Kingsmen, but the Gay Panic jokes and the Church scene served to remind me, oh yeah, Millar. Joke's on me then.

I kinda buy in when I play more than most, but I think the backstories were all more interesting than what we saw necessarily—the sawbones and his blood bag say. I like the idea of brushing against other stories—Hope and Glory though, that was so on the nose they commented on it in the game.

Quite pretty, really. I felt a little bad bashing into the dessicated coral.

Has anyone else finished it? So I'm glad the review covered the dissonance between this Max and the world he was in. In part, the game seemed inspired mostly by the first movie in terms of violence and tone. I went with it —obviously liked the game and it scratched the right itches for me to finish, but the ending

One of the territories you roam is the dried up ocean floor.

There's not that much of Tenderloin, to be honest, but the highlight is actually not killing the Warcrier character, since his dialogue changes when all the guys he was gonna buff are all dead.

I have consistently been wrong at every step about who looks electable and has the chops to do it—seriously, who would've expected Jeb to be this bad at running?—but Rubio? I think a generally bettering economy means he comes out like a Romney, someone Republicans might back out of inertia rather than excitement.

Yes, and he's gonna change the lyrics to shoehorn in the names from the show.

Sutter wrote, produced, and had a small role in the Shield, but Shawn Ryan was the showrunner. And apparently the moderating influence.

You think so? I can see it, but it didn't annoy me as much as Ron Perlman overstayed his welcome. Or rather, Clay doing so. Then again, a lot of plots and characters overstayed.

This one felt less interesting to me, which is weird considering all the reveals. Maybe 'cause he's a subordinate player?

I've been reading the issues, and while I'm still enjoying it or I wouldn't, it's more unfocused than I expected.

Bought it, enjoyed a huge chunk. Spent too much time with it already (finished the story even). Camps are indeed fun, and the car combat. Weirdly, don't love the races for a car game.

Just want to mention I went ahead and got it and with the abundance of a holiday weekend may have finished the story. Had a blast so thanks for the review. I actually liked the camps/bases more than Far Cry 3 (the last Far Cry I played)—thought it varied a bit more. The ending didn't work for me though, and maybe also

I have that game—booklet really. It was part of a small series called New Style that was oriented toward simple mechanics and storytelling. The other one I know of is one called Puppetland. Interesting and creepy as hell.

I actually enjoyed Golden Flower more—though that might've been my recalibration of expectations after House. I took it more as a straight-ahead melodrama, and that worked for me. Though nothing has been as strong as his early films for me.

I'm going to take this as an opportunity to say I never got into Freaks & Geeks for just this reason—not that it's bad, or that everything need be all things to all people—but I wasn't into enough to even try. There's one joke with a black kid in the show in the first 4 episodes which shows awareness of the lack,
