I think the difference is 12 Years A Slave and Green Book and Crash didn’t implicate the audience whereas Flower Moon does. Furthermore, 12 Years A Slave, etc., these are white savior movies, they’re movies about reconciliation whereas Flower Moon isn’t that. There was no happy ending.

Both movies are not even his best outing. Less deserving than his other movies.

Robbing isn’t the right word, but yes, that is pretty funny.

Memento is a wholly original and compelling screenplay: the movie itself was rough around the edges.

Well-deserved.

Exactly. It’s okay to want money just to have money to pay for the things you like to have. You’re allowed to say that.

Actually, forget every season, every EPISODE should end that way, just in case the head writer or main actor are struck by lightning before they can make more. TV should never take risks or try out new ideas, it’s irresponsible!

The funny part is that, in terms of the actual buying power needed to purchase them, games are literally cheaper than they’ve ever been. Even at a $70 price point.

Ive made my peace with this show before and won’t repeat myself on that front.

I feel like with this and Larian Studios receiving toxicity, it’s almost as if this doesn’t really happen because of “bad games,” but because gamers are entitled Karens who don’t recognize the human cost of the games they played.

As far as I’m concerned, all developer interactions with gamers should just be a double mid

The entitlement of consumers, in all fields, is galling.

That’s not to say you shouldn’t speak up when wronged, but have a little respect for the other person in the conversation. Be as professional as you expect them to be dammit.

“Use items frequently.”

100% agree. The way Gamers give, uh, “feedback” can read a little hostile sometimes and I can see how a human dev on the receiving end of it might react in a human way. Not to say it’s okay, but I’m inclined to forgive a one-time incident. The community reaction to that patch has been completely insane and out of

A company is not “milking their users” by expecting them to pay for a service. If you’re mad at Warner Bros and don’t want to pay for Max, great. If you think Max has gotten worse, that’s a good reason not to pay for it. But you don’t get to say, “Max has gotten so terrible, there’s nothing on it anymore,” while

He already got his career achievement Oscar for the forgettable Crazy Heart, though.

I’ve always found Leo to be above average as an actor -- consistently in that “decent-to-good” range... rarely “great” but at least never “awful”

There’s a lot wrong with the film, and as much as everyone loved Daniel Day Lewis in the role (and I do think he’s one of the greatest actors of all time), it read as just really hammy to me. Oh, and Cameron Diaz was absolutely awful (and totally miscast).

BIG fan of Scorsese here but willing to admit that Gangs of New York was just not very good.

A bunch of nominations and no wins is not a “snub.”

Yet another reason why Messi is better than Ronaldo.
