Hey dude, it’s Tucson, not Tuscon.

I say prices are going up due to the heavy influence Jalopnik and its community have, along with some articles by some Doug guy buying exotic cars.

It seems the Pagoda's wheels/tires may have bruises...

It's clear, though, that Jalopnik is just one of many boiler rooms for old / classic cars, right?

I worked on this project. Usually truck drivers move on to operating other machines, even remote controlled ones that allow employees to work on safer environments. This is a Komatsu, though, not the one in the picture:

Maybe they won’t have the guts, but Lexus has brand material to create a campaign called “F the Germans".

Does it feel like a Porsche, badges aside?

I wish I could hear all the factory noises, no BG sound.

I can't remember not being into cars. I learned to drive real cars at 10, in a Chevy pickup truck (best dad ever). My first magazine subscription ever was Quatro Rodas (Four Wheels), then the best auto magazine in Brazil. My dad would take to GM, VW and Ford dealerships when new cars were launched, he was never into

Not a fair comparison. I think the F1 was ahead of its time, when the P1 is not - it's awesome, pretty, impressive, <insert_adjective_here>, but the F1 is immortal.

+1

Sounds like him, right?

This is the last Variant I heard of... (Brazil, 60's, 70's)

"Do as we say, not as we do... yeah, go buy Vipers because what we really, really want are manual air-cooled Porsches."? =P

All in Portuguese, though, but you can read where it says in the lines of "parties reached an agreement, the Police took notice of the 'incident' and it's all good now..."

So it's like "Dude, I've just tried to kill and destroyed your car, so let's move on with our lives, shall we?". Yeah, right.

But then you find out that the guy is actually a second cousin of the wife of a federal judge, and everyone lives happily ever after. Again, sad but true, I wished it worked out black and white as it does in the US. Think of Brazil as New Jersey on horse steroids...

That's Brazil, man. Sometimes people just don't want to deal with that crap... sad but true.

You know what happened to these guys? NOTHING. Nobody pressed charges... I kinda followed that story.

I kinda feel "proud" to see my city in the (not so good) news section of Jalopnik... yay. =P That's Recife, in Brazil, in a fancy mall.

The trend is real. Brazil is also slapping a 50% tax on usage of foreign data centers, where the buyer of services will (most likely) get the bill. This is a very, very protectionist move from the government, but it also goes hand-in-hand with this "divorce". Here's the official decree (in Portuguese, from the
