Wouldn’t a smaller mustang be a Maverick?

I would rather have three gallons of explosive liquid than 20-50+pounds of explosive batteries.

Plot twist: This is actually part of a Pontiac re-launch and it will be called the Fiero 2

One time I got pulled over in a chevette for 80 in a 65. I told the cop my speedo was broken but I found it very hard to believe I could break 70. He ended up letting me go. I was disappointed, I wanted to frame the 80mph ticket to put on my dash.

That sounds like a summary of my childhood, except sometimes the boat was being pulled by a firebird and the kids rode home ducked down inside the boat.

And if you don’t live in one of those places, best off just not wasting your time.

I absolutely love those seats. And that is the only thing I love about this

I would never buy this. But if I were in the market for an opulent luxury car and had like 40k to spend, This and 20k worth of refreshing and a repairs account would beat out a lot of 50k cars

Earlier this year I bought an MR2 to build a race car. I got a deal on another one with a nicer body so I decided to build one race car and one all original show car. I now have two modified fun cars

My 09 335i was plenty unreliable

“Number of accidents up 10 percent, number of fatalities down 20 percent, number of post-accident roadside fights down 100%”

Worse than ignoring the tourism numbers, the study is comparing accidents to the number of cars registered IN THAT STATE. So, obviously, if you have a lot more cars from different states driving around, the result is going to skew upwards very quickly.  There is no reason for them to do the study in this way other

Yeah, because they plea deal out, pay the state a fuckload of money, go on probation, and don’t go to trial.

They were also comparing wrecks to number of registered cars. If you are the only state in the area with a tourist draw then that is going to seriously skew your statistics.

The IIHS study seems pretty flawed to me. Is it just measuring total wrecks in that state and comparing to registered vehicles in that state? Well of course Colorado is going to have worse statistics. It is the only state in that area with anything resembling tourist draw whatsoever. If a lower percentage of the cars

Not hard to find one with a rusted out frame in a junk yard. Throw a coat of paint on it and you have a decent and cheap movie prop

How is there not a single chevette? They are all but forgotten today but they would have been pretty ubiquitous city cars in this period.

Koenigsegg himself is an engineer. So it may be one of the only companies where the bean counters, lawyers, and finance majors actually have to answer to the engineering department.

More like an alternate universe version of Elon Musk where he is actually an engineer.

After I almost wrecked my old BMW at 200+mph I have reached the same conclusion.
