Just get an MRS and put a 2ZZ in it, or a v6. Better than an elise guaranteed, if not quite as sexy.

Couldn’t make it this time, but Ill be there with my two MK1 MR2's next time. Along with the newest addition to the herd, a 2j swapped 86 cressida wagon.
For 5k, I would rather buy 10 Geo Metro’s in marginally running condition to play bumper cars in the snow with.
I dig it, those engines respond pretty well to boost too.
I actually had an 84 Hurst/olds. One of my first cars. Slower than shit and the sun dyed the interior a nice lime green. It was comfortable and the three shifters were funny.
Oh yes, he killed the North American Free Trade Agreement. Instead, we now just have the USMCA, an agreement on free trade between the countries of North America.
What a fucking moron.
Making me look forward to dropping a v6 in my mk1 MR2 even more.
So once they got a bunch of pre-orders and buzz, and a factory, they didn’t have the clout to try and work a deal with a manufacturer?
If I am buying a shell to put a new engine in, it is going to be a significantly more interesting, light weight shell. That being said, this is NP all day if you just really love 3000GT’s
I would be fine with that if the interior was also understated. But right now you have a pretty subdued exterior matched to a rather off-the-wall interior.
My go to v8 swap is a 1UZ, bulletproof, high revving fun.
Well that was unnecessarily aggressive. No need to be a massive dick
I had a really bad experience with a G body hurst/olds, so pass for me. I spent 1000 on that car, why would I spend 56 times that on the exact same car with a different engine?
For the 80's they were pretty fantastic. Other than this, the higher end engine for the G body cars was the 307 v8, an engine that somehow managed to turn prodigious amounts of gasoline into a measly 180hp. This was the engine put in the 83-84 hurst/olds that are sometimes called the last true muscle cars.
Do it and I will scab this so hard. Will race for free!
So, so, sooooo many. And it is absolutely genetic.
Just in my memory, leaving out all of the crap car stories from before I was born we have
A Ford Aerostar used as a work van, that prompty detonated it’s transmission
A dodge raider with a weak engine, turns out the engine in those is worth more than the car. This was…
That is a funny way to spell Station Wagon
Thanks, now I have a new weird van thing I have to buy
I laughed way too hard at the Uhaul MR2. I own two of them and they have less space put together than my Fiesta did.
I would totally buy one with a manual......if it had a Toyota engine. After my last experience, I will never own another BMW engined anything ever again.
