Ford was so foolish to not modernize it. The Panther platform made a ton of money for Ford and when the whole panther clan disappeared folks bought Avalons instead.

Not anywhere near as bad as its rep. I live in Iowa and that it where old Aztecs come to meet their final end. Some of the paint jobs (2 -tones were bad and the tent deal reeved up the critics) but being 1st and not Pontiac like were the real issues. Today only a car nut like me even notices one.

do you have one with the scooter motor range extender?

The i3 was plain super ugly and was really made to be sold with the gas range extender. Goofy California (CARB) made them put a tiny tank on the range extender so you had to fill it as often as the original mileage for the batteries alone and in the US it only worked if thee battery was about to die.. Better design…
