I agree - she definitely had the self-awareness to know that had she decided to defend her son and not resigned the credibility of Time’s Up would have been deeply damaged. So that’s good at least.

Not a lawyer. I think the term is “gross negligence”. The contract doesn’t protect the shop because their action of the employee (illegal u-turn) is clearly “grossly negligent”.

The only fools were the captain and the boating company who still allowed business to happen that day.
