For me, this is just another Hollywood blockbuster wannabe modern/near-future military shooter which looks generically brown and gritty with "must-have" multiplayer mode selling for the excessive $60 full price compared to the content. I really don't know who would actually find this interesting after so many years of

It's not about happy ending or not. It's that the ending is poorly written and lacks logic connection and context. That being said, this won't be ANOTHER ending, it will just be an extended one which makes your point moot.

They should put a game completed stats there too.

The whole series of these kind of news about Diablo III just changed my view on Blizzard. They just seem very greedy and arbitrary. The whole always online bullshit, server error fiasco, real money auction house, client region lock etc all points to the unspoken hidden agenda of Blizzard: DRM, piracy, nickle'n'dime,

I've actually been playing the SR3 recently and I have to admit I'm quite pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect the game to be so much at all. I ended up having finished all the side activities straight before I rarely touched the main mission.

This is actually what put me off this game. Instead of making a fun, self-contained game that you can enjoy and yet challenging. I feel the game is more like online poker, gambling.

I have the same feeling as you. It's not a game for me. For me, it's more like gambling which the same mechanics are used in games like this. I feel when you play games like this, it's more like game plays you instead of you playing the game.

I wonder how much appeal this will have if not for the skimpy clothes women. Not to downplay the female players on the field, they are actually pretty legit from the videos I've seen. But it's still sad to see it marketing as sex appeal to attract viewers. I wish this could eventually evolve into proper women's

As a non-American, I fail to see what the big deal is. Russians have been vilified and killed countless times in video games or other media and they don't give a shit about it.

Typical stereotype of Japanese aside, I think the game is trying to appeal to just anybody.

You do know SE only publishes the game right?

As much as I feel bad for all the ones who lost their jobs, I can't help but wonder why wouldn't she get a job also? Of course it's personal choice, but I wouldn't take the risk to move if I were the only one in the family who makes money. It's just not safe at all, especially in this economy.

This yet proves it again that it's hard to take video games seriously. I mean, even the fact is it is indeed an attempted rape scene, it would still be laughable considering all the man-slaughtering and superman body resilience showed in the trailer.

I think it's just common that people think anything they aren't familiar with "cool" or "exotic". It's just like people there fantasizing US and Europe(myself included, fascinated by Europe) but once you actually live there and know more things, everything becomes less impressive and sometimes even repulsive.

Funny enough most of my Japanese friends aren't anime or video game fans at all. Actually they think otaku people are pretty weird.

Not surprising this article has gained so many comments. But again, I wouldn't say the trailer is necessarily sexist but it is indeed highly sexualized and dumb. And apparently the creator did it for the sake of it so I don't buy what they say. Also about the remarks that the game is cartoony... really? All I see is

Well said. They made the trailer to be all edgy and controversial on purpose.

It's pretty pathetic to think someone is superior than other people because of some digital entertainment, isn't it? Same goes for any kind of fanboyism or overly obsession.

Well for me, I don't really care about those games so they don't really affect me much. I've passed the days when I wanna play every single game out there. The bottom line is if games have PC version, PC version is a better choice for me because I have a pretty decent computer.

Well, myself grew up with console gaming in the 80s from NES till now and I personally own a PS3 as well. For someone who owns a capable PC that can play games, I just think play non-console exclusive games on PC is a very viable and reasonable choice due to better graphics, modability and also importantly usually
