DLC skins wow. Shouldn't those be included in the standard version by default? I like how companies nowadays gimp products then label them "extra", plus all the store exclusive pre-order shit. Purchasing games are not the same easy anymore.

As always as I've been saying, DLCs this generation have been the plague for the whole industry. Instead of moving on to the new projects and allocate recourse for creative purpose, now companies focus on microtransaction, nickle'n'dime DLCs to milk the already created stuff.

The combat system is still one-on-one like before? As much as I like the previous two games, I really wish the combat was more challenging and action-packed instead of like walking in the garden.

No, it's just a no. The lite RPG elements add so much more things and depth to the gameplay. We do not want another GOW or Castlevania clone with mindless violence.

I've only played it for 2 hours so far but I do agree with the article that animation and combat are something to be desired in this game.

I can't judge before I play the game. But my gut feeling tells me that the game will be the same as the previous two games and it's only worth a rent.
