Yeah, but the article didn't mention per code = -10 points no? If a game has 10 codes, it gets 0 point in that logic, which I don't think is the original poster's intention.

"Used game sales and piracy are eating away at dev's and publisher's income and they're protecting their investments more than ever. That's why things like online passes sadly exist. "

Great strawman, no one here mentioned that one code = 10 points, yes?

Yes it is a hassle and stupid. Also if the online pass is worth $10, may they have the game for $50 sans the online mode for gamers who only play single player mode? And tell me you are totally fine with it when you need to share the game with your brother or family or your friends. It IS a way for company to

No, the whole point of online pass is that it's a hassle and shouldn't be there. It is THE thing to complain about, not the $60 price tag.

I agree with the article. When a reviewer reviews the game, it should review it as a whole package including pricing and packaging and other factors. If a game is overpriced or has some iffy conduct by the company, it should be a minus no matter how good the game itself is.

For what I know, Mike Fahey is not little kid and probably earn more than you do. Plus only little kids spell are as "r" and miss capitalization in sentence.

1. It adds inconvenience to the gamers. If you buy a game and want to share with your brother, there's no way you can share the online pass. Same goes to borrowing from friends.

Not all women have to act or dress like a slut to be attractive. It also baffles me when western people always try to assume all the culture should be like theirs.

Yes they have the rights to do whatever they want, and people also have the rights to despise it. If you are more than willing to be screwed, good for you and the company.

Well people please expect the online pass. Now this time not only you can't get the exclusive bonus items, you will also get a game feature stripped if you buy used. Well done.

Well my point is the could have used the time and resource to add more contents to single player experience.

Because it takes you out from the immersion. You have made all the decisions through the games, you have fought the battles by yourself, now you are facing the last enemy for the final chapter of the great journey. And then when you are in the combat, suddenly a wild bro friend shows up and start co-op with you with

No the co-op mode is completely unnecessary. It does more damage than benefit if you want to treat the game as RPG. If it's a pure shooter, fine, go ahead. But as RPG, you experience the environment, the atmosphere, the mood, the tension, INCLUDING your AI teammate by yourself. It's all about immersion. Think about

Space Marine: Mass Effect edition?

Just something irrelevant. Why can't kotaku just link to Youtube video? The embeded video player sucks as it drags and can't be displayed on mobile devices.

FIFA 12 I guess.

Yeah I know what you mean. I'd be very happy to see it goes to PC as well. But for me, I just take it as it is. If I keep everything should come to PC mentality, there are way too many games should get PC release. Play the game, have fun, enjoy life, there's no need to get worked up because of certain games won't come

Well for me, if there's both console and PC version, I always just play PC version due to higher graphic quality. But I also think it's okay for some games to be on console and I don't think it's a sin or crime not to port it on PC. If you refuse to play the game simply because it's not on PC, I'd say you are missing

I don't get why some people feel so entitled that they should everything. If Rockstar decides not to put it on PC, then deal with it. They have their reasons(technical, business). They won't do it just because some people demand it. For me, I always play games on PC if there's PC version, but if it doesn't come out on
