It doesn't really matter to me because I rarely buy games out right. I usually just buy games several months later when it's cheap. Also I never do impulsive purchase. Unless I'm extremely interested in the game, I wouldn't buy it. My PS3 collection right now is just a little more than 10 games, but then that, I still

In my humble opinion, those characters are quite fleshed out throughout the game. Squall was grumpy and cold in the beginning but as he adventures through the story, he gradually opens up and realizes the past memory and connection with other characters. Rinoa seems a cheerful and playful girl in the beginning but as

"MORE SERIOUS AND EMOTIONAL ZOMBIE GAME! "

Anyone surprised at this after seeing what Apple's been doing for years.

Hmm... I'm not sure... but RE is not shooter, nor made by American company :p

Surprise~~~ bad guys in American company made modern shooters featured American military aren't American or it's ally fellows.

I see what you mean. But sadly the only way to get into romance is to deliberately pick the flirt option. It would feel more natural if characters react to other things you say as well. For example, when your party member feel you have the same understanding, share the same experience, then emotion may grow. But

Cheesy maybe, but the whole romance development in FFVIII is detailed and natural. There are lots of moments you could see the gentle touch in the story and it does have a huge impact on the story. It may not be as classic as Pride and Prejudice, but I rarely see other video games, especially western games do a better

Well, when I played DA2, my male character and Anders started making out just after my 2 clicks. It left me really bad impression...

To be honest, if you thanks Bioware for including homosexual relationship, I'd say they paint a bad picture of that...

Well, except in Bioware games, I rarely see things other than flirting.

"It felt like it was compressing a long-term romantic relationship into the same space a "fuck-buddies" style relationship develops in. "

How about genuine attractive characters? Let's say Dante in DMC, a handsome western looking young man who resembles real world aestheticism? But then again, if you think ugly characters are more likable in the game, then it's fine. I understand even in movies, there are actors specializes in playing ugly characters.

Don't want to comment on the sexual orientation issue, but I just want to point out all the romance in Bioware games is really poorly done and out of place.

Exactly my thought. Most of the character design in Western games are just really generic and ugly. I mean it's true that Western design always pursue realism but even in real world, those characters are not attractive to say the least.

No, if you upgrade video game, it should be at least 3 tiers higher than your current card, otherwise you won't see significant difference when it comes to performance, thus not worthy it.

I have GTX285 card right now but I don't think it's worth it for me to upgrade or whatsoever. The current best cards aren't that much of improvement yet.

RPG doesn't literally translate into "role playing". In most games, you always assume a character to control and interact with the environment and many of them have story, too.

It seems promote comment is not working right but this hits the nail.

I could see the appeal of the the game when the first game came out years ago as FPS was still a newly fresh genre and the first DN game was indeed a milestone. But after so many years of delay and the saturation and evolution of shooter genre, I can hardly feel anything special about it anymore. Saw the gameplay
