They also share the same trait of screwing gamers over and corporate greed. And btw, that's not additional DLC, it's something that should have been there in the first place.

It's not like western developers didn't employ online pass bullcrap or anything, right?

Brilliant.

That's what I mean by history.

If I remember correctly, this is at least the third article in the recent 2 days about this game. Do we really need to hype this game this much while we don't yet get to see any gameplay footage and the release date is still "sometime this year"?

Maybe PC, but the fact that shooters have saturated to the current generation home console is already a sign that it's a fad. Just wait and see the market get saturated and fall apart. Remember the 2D fighting games boom in early 90s?

Yes it is a fad if you compare the games of current generation to the past ones. Just look at how many shooters are there. And how many games are affected by the trend( eg. ME2).

I don't like it simply because it's mindless and poorly designed. There's no story or whatsoever in the game( well, very bad one), basically you just run into a bunch of unlimited spawn enemy and shoot the hell out of it. I don't usually like FPS for exact the same reason: no depth, shallow, brainless and only focus

To be honest, from my personal experience, this is really common in Asia, not only in Japan. People generally in Asia are insensitive to Nazis. I remember even seeing some Nazi official cosplay at conventions and such. And people enjoyed Nazi movies and fashions while they are not as "evil" as perceived in Western

Man, I feel you.

Yeah, I only play RE series as for the zombies.

How about just a game without all the gimmicks or be more creative to have something we've never seen before?

Any sort of pre-order or store exclusive content is totally bull crap.

No matter how much it's hyped, it just feels like another zombie game for me.

Say it for yourself.

No, it's the media reacted like they've never seen a zombie game or movie before.

Besides how Heavy Rain tried to achieve the goal, I agree with him on the concept that games need to be mature. However, in execution, developers usually fall into the fallacy that mature simply means "gritty", "sex", "violent", "moral gray", "profanity", etc. The result of those attempts is simply premature

What's up with all the hype?

Can't speak for everyone else, but for me, who has grown up a gamer now in his mid 20s with a full time profession, I definitely game much less than when I was still a student, let along complete the games.

It's not like in the US young girls try to dress and behave as slutty and bitchy as possible.
